Jesus on the Cross…
Theme is threefold.
What Jesus done for us – Jesus conquered evil through the cross
What Jesus does within us – We now have the ability and desire to say no to sin if we so choose.
What Jesus does between us – The conquest of evil is extended into personal relationships.

Our reading this week will come from Col. 2:13-15
13When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. 15And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
