Sermon From 8/23/09:The Elephant in the Room: Final sermon in the Unexpected Adventure series.

Sermon From 8/23/09 :P resence of God: The point is simply, usually this verse is read as one of comfort, but the context demands us to understand it as God’s presence for Christian witness.

Sermon From 8/9/09:Linking: The word “linking” represents a biblical concept expressed by Paul in 1 Corinthians 3:1-9 that unexpected adventures are links in a chain. Paul tells us that he planted (a link) Apollos watered (another link) and God made it grow. We contribute to a person’s life with God by being links in their chain. The chain itself in a person’s life is the whole series of unexpected meetings (divine appointments) with Christians. Understanding that we can be used by God as a link in someone’s life, and knowing that it is God’s chain is very encouraging.

Sermon From 8/2/09 :D ivine Appointments: Using last weeks main idea, unexpected adventures happen between people during the course of the day, we will see the willingness and awareness of the Apostle Paul to engage people during the course of his stay at Philippi.

Sermon From 7/26/09:The Unexpected Adventure: This Sunday we are starting a new series, The Unexpected Adventure. This week is an introductory message about living your life with an awareness that God brings people into ours lives during the course of the day and that God might have something to say to them through us.
