This is a message is for everyone, but in particular those going on the mission trip. “Prepare your minds for action, keep a clear head, and set your hope completely on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.” This is a simple message, be ready mentally, morally, and emotionally to make a difference.

We will be having a special “send off” time for those going on the mission trip next Sunday. Dan Hill will be giving us an overview on the upcoming trip.

Our reading this week will come from 1 Peter 1:13-16

13Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
