The point is about learning to give grace to those on the outer edges of society by treating them with an intentional focused respect. And at the same time, not to further lift up those who are respectable already at the cost of those on the fringes.
This message will come out of 1 Corinthians 12:23-24.
Join us this Sunday at Lakeview Community Church at 10:45 a.m., as Pastor Paul Kozar continues his series on “The Art of Inclusion.”
Our reading this Sunday however will come out of Colossians 3:11-14.
1Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
