Family info: Wife, Debbie. Three sons: Daniel (the music leader), Zach (in the sound room), and Isaac (on drums). The Steve Miller Band. We do have a delusional cat who thinks we exist to serve her. We humor her. Sometimes.
Current vocation: Debbie and I are missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Steve is a software developer. Debbie is an Assistant Chaplain and Assistant Youth Director.
Favorite food: I enjoy many different ethnic foods, particularly Asian, and I usually eat vegetarian.

Books you are reading: The Bishop by Steven James. I had the privilege of having dinner with Steven recently and hearing him speak. I am impressed with him as a writer, speaker and follower of Jesus. I recently finished The Defiance, Texas trilogy, written by a friend of mine, Mary DeMuth. I also read the Paradise Novels by Ted Dekker recently . Then in nonfiction, I’ve recently read Are Miraculous Gifts for Today: Four Views and Sticky Church.
Hobbies/Interests: I am a published author and editor, and speak at writers groups. I’ve been playing bass and keyboards for the church the last few years. In an effort to stay in shape, I started running short “sprint” triathlons. I enjoy researching stocks, and I’m slowing translating the New Testament from its original language (Greek).
Guilty Pleasures: I like throwing together fruit smoothies. Any place that grows tropical fruit has a special touch by God.

A reason you’re excited to be at Lakeview: I’m glad to be part of a church in which people want to know God. I want to see more lives changed.
