We are starting a new series, “One Another.” We will be looking at many of the “one another” expressions found in the bible to teach us all community or fellowship means from God’s perspective. This first message comes from Hebrews 10:19-25, in particular, vv. 24-25. A spiritual community can’t spiritual grow together if they do not spend time together and with Jesus as our focus.

The title of the first message is “Spiritual Growth through Sharing.” The two sub-points are 1. Time together helps us abound in love and good works. 2. Time together builds courage in uncertain times.

We will also have Communion this week.

Please join us this Sunday morning at 10:45 for this new message from Pastor Paul Kozar.

This story is for today, for today, most American Christians would relate more to Simon than the hooker, which is normal. But the issue is how Simon treated the hooker who needed forgiveness, and how he snub Jesus who was reaching out to her.

This is another missional message (the church does not primarily send missionaries, but is sent).

There are 6 core values of being missional.
1. Build Proximity to sinners (move into the neighborhood)
2. Practice the presence of God
3. Understand Prevenient grace (God precedes us in all missional enterprises)
4. Relate with Powerlessness (the virtue of humility which eliminates the us versus them mentality)
5. Proclamation of the Good News of Jesus. (Both announce and demonstrate it)
6. Passion for kingdom building (the nurturing, care, and building of communities as if they are God’s garden)

Our reading this week will come from Luke 7:36-50.

Join us this Sunday morning at 10:45am for this new message from Pastor Paul Kozar.
