Our reading this week will come from Romans 1:1-7

1Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— 2the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures 3regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, 4and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. 5Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. 6And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.

7To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

9:30am Breakfast

10:45am Worship Service

12:15pm Easter Egg Hunt

Time & Place: 6 PM at the church.

The menu: Chicken/beef enchilada casseroles, Spanish rice, refried beans, salad, & dump cake/vanilla ice cream for dessert. We will have water & iced tea, also coffee. We will also have chips/salsa/queso on the tables. It will NOT be served on paper plates.

Child Care: Jordan & Rachel Carl will watch the non-nursery age children, & Elizabeth Kozar & Kathryn Hill will work the nursery.

Entertainment: A Newly Wed game, a quilt raffle (the quilt that was hanging behind the piano on the left side of the sanctuary) and a few other games.

Purpose: Besides spending a very special evening with the one(s) you love, this is a fund raiser for the Mission Trip to Mexico.

Attire: There are no expectations in regards to dress, Pastor Paul will be coming in a tie, Pam will be in a dress and corsage.

Join us Feburary 1st at 5:28 p.m. to watch the big game on the big screen! It’s also a game night for those that aren’t quite into football!

Bring a crock-pot to our crock-pot bonanza. There is a sign up sheet by the coffee for main dish or dessert. Desserts also can be made in the crock-pot if you like.
