The meaning of mercy is meeting needs through deeds. In a sense, deeds of mercy are a foretaste of God putting this world back together. We are going to study the origin of needs (Genesis 3), that being the effects of sin as as they appear in four keys areas, social life, God, self, and physical (nature/stuff).
