Testing the Waters
How can you know if you are talking to a Christian? John is always talking about the three tests of the Christian, either taking a self test or giving to someone else. They are the test of love (last week) the test of doing the right things for Jesus (righteousness) or the test of truth. This week it is the the test of truth, with two sub points.
